Managing a oneNDA request

Context

Once a request is created, you can follow its status on the Manage Request page. Actions will vary based on the workflow settings and your role.

Managing a oneNDA request

To manage a oneNDA request, go to the Requests section on the sidebar. Then, select the request you need to manage.

General actions

These actions are available to everyone with access to the request.

  1. Send via email: You can send the document as an attached file to an email recipient.

When clicking on the button, a modal will open for you to input the recipient's email address, edit the email subject, and add a custom message.

  1. Download document: You can download the latest document version as a PDF file by clicking on the Download button.

  1. Copy link: You can copy the link to this request, it can only be shared with people from your organization as they will be asked to login if they are not already.

  1. Comment on the activity feed: On the activity feed section, you can add comments about the request that will be visible only for members of your organizations that have access to the request. These comments won't be visible to your counterparty.

Requester actions

  1. Cancel Request: At the bottom of the screen, you will find three-dot menu, with the option to Cancel the request. When clicking on it, a modal will open with a confirmation message. This will end the request, and you will need to create a new one in case you need an agreement with this organization. This action is also available to administrators or users who have edit permissions on the Request.



Approver actions

Only available to request approvers

  1. Approve and send: By clicking on the "Approve and send button". You are approving the latest version of the document, and sending it for signature to your counterparty. You will be allowed to add a comment to your approval. Comments will only be visible to your organization members in the Request's activity feed.

  1. Edit and send: You can edit key terms of this NDA, and then send the document to the counterparty for their signature.

Signer actions

  1. Sign: Once the request has been signed by the counterparty, signers will be able to sign the document and finalize the request. You will see the sign button at the end of the screen next to the three-dot menu. When clicking on it, you will be redirected to the signing page.

Administrator actions

These actions are also available for users with Edit permissions

  1. Cancel Request: At the bottom of the screen, you will find three-dot menu, with the option to Cancel the request. When clicking on it, a modal will open with a confirmation message. This will end the request, and you will need to create a new one in case you need an agreement with this organization.
  2. Reset to review: By scrolling to the end of the screen, you will find a three-dot menu, with the option to Reset to review. This means that a new approval will be needed.

This feature can be used to update the document, as it will require new approval and a new document version will be sent to the counterparty afterwards.
